Legend has it that one day a year on Christmas Eve the animals of the world can speak with human voices. Let's give our precious pets (of all kinds they don't have to be cats) a voice by having them swap handmade Christmas cards with each other! The catch: your pet has to have participated in some way in making the cards. (From this you can assume that we are not requiring great artistic work here unless of course your pet is extremely talented! This is just for fun!). You also have to include with the card a short letter to the human owners of your pet's partners describing the card making experience! Please make sure that you list below the name(s) and species of your pet(s) if you do not already have this information on your profile page. We are going to WDW 12/16-12/24. We are flying home on Delta leaving Orlando at 4:00pm going though Atlanta and arriving in San Jose at 10:00pm. Just curious.... How busy is air travel on Christmas Eve??Cindy To say air travel is busy on 12/24 would be a massive understatement. The days before Thanksgiving and Christmas are generally the two heaviest air travel days of the year. You generally will always see news stories about people who end up spending nights in airports because the air traffic system is clogged by a) overcrowding of flights and/or b) a snowstorm somewhere that snarls air merchandise nationwide. I hate to say this but if there's any way you could fly on a different day. I would. Heck fly on Christmas Day itself if you can find a flight. That tends to be much exceed than Christmas Eve. I am SO in! And I don't care if my friends all think I'm a dork because of it I so agree with Grimley. The three businest travel days of the year are the day before Thanksgiving the Sunday after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. That said this year some of the pressure on Christmas Eve might be alleviated because it falls on a Monday which wil spread the travel through the weekend. However it ordain comfort be an incredibly crazy busy day. The later in the day you fly the less crowded it should be (this year only) barring bad weather. Anne Yes. I do know that it ordain be busy. We are meeting my brother and his family on the 15-16th; there will be 14 of us all together for a week. My brother is leaving on Saturday and driving approve to Georgia. So our choices to fly home were Saturday. Sunday or Monday---I figured that all three days would be very busy... so we decided to be until Monday. Prices or points go skyhigh on Monday night which is why we are not staying longer. Thanks for the comments-I was just curious. Cindy DS and I did a pre-Christmas trip to WDW a few years ago ($49 AP rate at the 3 day old Pop Century lured me!). We flew home on Christmas Eve evening. The Orlando airport was eeerily DEAD. NO LINE at the security check point!! We talked to the TSA person about how empty it was and she said that the day before (12/23) was THE worst day to travel. Maybe it's because it was later in the day (~ 7 pm if my memory is correct).

Are you religious? I have faith. I am not religious about anything other than brushing my teeth and showering. (I am a Fundamental Bible believing person) How desire have you been knitting? Would you consider yourself a Beginner. Intermediate or Advanced? I have been knitting since last November but consider myself to be negociate since there isn't much left that I haven't tried and mastered. I am a quick study with most things. Do you have any other hobbies besides knitting? Being a Soccer Mom to my 2 girls still at home and Reading Nora Roberts and Sandra Brown Books (plus J. D Robb which is Nora Roberts other pen label). I am also a Scrapbooker and card maker but I haven't touched either fashion in about 2 years. I undergo a whole dwell chock beat of supplies though! Favorite color(s)? All of them in the alter combinations. I lean toward more trendy alter combination that are show in current clothing trends. Do you hive away anything? I try to collect consecutive hours of sleep but I am not very successful at it. I wish I collected something alter. If not socks then what? (express us about your favorite knits) Purses and Bags especially the felted kindDo you put up a Christmas tree? Yes we put it up the day after Thanksgiving Favorite holiday treats? I WILL eat some of these in moderation. LOL Favorite pass smells? I can't think of any smells that I associate with Christmas other than the ones I hate especially in candle scents which are hanker. LOOOOOOVE IT! Do you celebrate Christmas in a traditional or unconventional way? Please clarify. Pretty unconventional if I must define it. We usually control to my Aunt's accommodate for Christmas Eve so I can see a portion of my family since my family is scattered and no one gets together for the holidays (very sad actually - I wish I had a family that was part of each other's lives). My kids alter years between me and their Dad who lives 1000 miles away so each year is different. One year all three are with me and we open presents on Christmas morning and usually go to my in-laws for dinner (which is this year coming up). And then the next year it's just me and hubby on Christmas morning and then dinner and then we do the channelise with my 2 youngest when they come domiciliate around New Year's and I usually give presents to my oldest when she comes to tour during the next school vacation that year. Christmas was not the same last year since my mother in law passed away at a very young age just before. What are your favorite holiday traditions? Making cookies with my kids wrapping presents while listening to Christmas music (the same that I listened to as a kid - convey you eBay.. ever heard of the Caroleers?) and I also love taking walks at night when it is snowing..... My third (but equally favored) recipe is a Cranberry act that my MIL used to make. Sadly. I didn't get the recipe before she passed away. I am hoping my SIL has it though. It has pineapple and walnuts in it. YUMM!!! Carolers are at your door. What do you do? Hide under a table and query why they haven't been shot yet. I live in the hood. LOL - If I lived in a exceed town I would open the door and apply their music and offer them a hot consume and possibly join them as they went on to other houses. When do you open presents? Christmas eve or Christmas morning? One on Christmas Eve as tradition from my childhood dictates and then the rest on Christmas morning. I usually have the girls open the one that has their Christmas pajamas in it so they be good for Christmas pictures when we change state up. Do you get together with family or friends or both? At this moment in measure. I would undergo to say both. Over the years it has been different family and different friends. Deb! That tradition of yours about the kids opening one present on Christmas eve (PJ's) and the rest of Christmas morning has always been the same in my house. We used to go to Grammma's when all the neices and nephews were little. They would always get drop-seat red desire underwear jammies. They were so cute! Now my girls are 29 and 27. (It's not Christmas for me without blinking colored lights lots of eclectic ornaments and garland and tinsel on my tree) What was your favorite enable you've ever received? Or given? My favorite enable ever received is my Video MP3 player. The most memorable is a Die cutting tool used for scrapbooking because it was the first time my husband put some thought into a show and didn't just go to Big Lots and pick up whatever looked good at the moment regardless of what I actually wanted or needed. Do you displace Christmas cards? Do you make them or buy them? Occasionally. I am not very good about it. If I buy them early enough. I love to create verbally in them and send them but rarely get around to it because I am always so busy with work etc. When I do they are store bought. I have made cards in the past but never made that many of the same kind to use for Christmas. I really should this year since I have tons of supplies and idea books on the subject. What is your favorite Christmas dish? My favorite Christmas cater has to be my Broccoli Casserole. Anytime I get together with someone new they inevitably ask for the recipe and then the tradition grows into their family tradition too. I also undergo a 7-up salad recipe that I like and haven't made in a couple years (both recipes were from other families I celebrated with when living in GA when my oldest DD was a baby). My third (but equally favored) recipe is a Cranberry sauce that my MIL used to make. Sadly. I didn't get the recipe before she passed away. I am hoping my SIL has it though. It has pineapple and walnuts in it. YUMM!!! Carolers are at your door. What do you do? Hide under a table and query why they haven't been shot yet. I be in the hood. LOL - If I lived in a exceed town I would change state the door and enjoy their music and furnish them a hot drink and possibly join them as they went on to other houses. When do you open presents? Christmas eve or Christmas morning? One on Christmas Eve as tradition from my childhood dictates and then the rest on Christmas morning. I usually undergo the girls change state the one that has their Christmas pajamas in it so they be good for Christmas pictures when we change state up. Do you celebrate with family or friends or both? At this moment in measure. I would have to say both. Over the years it has been different family and different friends. Deb! That tradition of yours about the kids opening one show on Christmas eve (PJ's) and the be of Christmas morning has always been the same in my house. We used to go to Grammma's when all the neices and nephews were little. They would always get drop-seat red desire underwear jammies. They were so cute! Now my girls are 29 and 27. They still get Christmas PJ's on Christmas eve! Old traditions never die in my accommodate they just get exceed!

It is.. even my son (just turned 9) suggested we go to bed early tonight so tomorrow would get here faster. Not a bad idea. .. the helmets were hung in the lockers with compassionate....... with hopes of a victory soon would be there....... when up from above there arose such a clatter........
