Overseas credit cards fraud soaring

Overseas separate fraud more thandoubled during the first half of 2007as new security measures in Britainforced criminals to work abroad.
Fraud on British-issued credit and debitcards committed overseas jumped by126 per cent during the first sixmonths to £108.8million according topayments group APACS.
But fraudulentuse of cards in Britain cut four per centto £154.8million.
Apacs said the dropin domestic card fraud had been drivenby the introduction of chip and Pin.
