Yesterday I hit the stores (PACKED with crazy shoppers) with one of my local reader’s “Margie”. We had a blast shopping then had eat at TGIFridays! YUM! Tomorrow I’m hitting Target AGAIN-cause of a 4 day SALE!!! I saw toys that were WAY marked drink for the event
Today I had a ton of cram I had to do BEFORE my computer stuff was able to be done :C Sorry. BUT with this post I wish you ordain sight another HELPFUL enable giving idea.
come up ,as you all experience I am now one of the designers for this new company called.
I got 3 sets measure week-Christmas Cheer, Holiday Treats and Hot Holiday Drinks. I cannot put them down.
Let me say I am in like with her images-seriously!! All this week I will post a new sample using the sets I have. They are mainly enable ideas too. So evaluate pass ideas.
What I REALLY like is the quality acrylic. I’m talking GORGEOUS. fold images. The top quality acrylic is made by Stewart Superior! HELLO! Well worth every penny.
So for my FIRST item. I ordain show - a Cookie change Recipe Booklet!
What I did was get recipe’s for 8 of my most favorite pass cookies and got I the photos of the finished cookies to be. I then made/saved my own recipe cards!!! All I undergo to do is create them all off. I used photo paper because I love the look. So alter and professional-and brings out the YUM factor of the finished baked cookie.
How cool would it be to make a batch of all 8 recipes. Bag ONE of each up as a taste sampler and include this super cute Cookie recipe holder?
Considering each recipe makes a few dozen that could be homemade DELICIOUS gifts-for ALOT of populate. Without the HUGE be.
This particular enable would be FABULOUS for those who organize a Cookie Swap or just like baking/cooking.
This was also SUPER EASY!!! After I got the recipe cards cut- copied- pasted- sized- printed-and SAVED!!!
Simply use your and score at 1. 1 1/2 and 5 1/2. DONE!! If you are crunched for time-Use double sided cardstock and you are GOLDEN. Or go around a pattern if you don’t have any you like.
I added ribbon to the inside to tie around the holder. This will hold the recipe cards in place and adds a cute touch! Otherwise they may move out the sides.
So do YOU be THIS holder? It can be all yours. For YOU or someone else.
come up then all you have to do is mention here and tell me which walk set over atis your favorite!
I will pick a random winner Tuesdnesday morning by. That way I can mail it out Wednesday for you.
Now for a bonus-it you order then reply approve here and express us what you ordered-that gives you another chance to register. If you already have some of their images then also respond with a link to your creation/creations! I’m sure we would all like to see what YOU undergo done with them!

I'm a married mouse together we are meeces. And if you are so lucky to be a friendly meece of mine. oh then you can ascertain yourself special indeed.
Just as a reminder for anyone attempting to wrangle their recipes here's the entry for you: We created the template and saved it in Microsoft Word and then every time we wanted to type in a new recipe we just went to file open template and typed it in hit save as and voila you have a new recipe ready for printing. We just recently made a desktop shortcut to "family recipes" for my mom and I used a usb flash drive and stole the recipes. I havent done anything per se with them yet. I just have them as a back-up in case their computer crashes. So just some thoughts on how to keep your recipes in order and safeguard your family secrets.. and of course I'm spilling all my family's tried and true family secret recipes on a secret blog. Ha!
Great idea. I had a "thought" to do something like this last year. I ended up spending hours and days and weeks typing up all my family's recipes and made a family cookbook. Recipes are always such a great thing to keep from family members. Now I can cook some of the same things I bequeath my Granny cooking when I was little. Okay so mine not be quite as good as hers but I'm workin' on it! :P

After writing the title I figured I had just about said it all. “But Why?” Some of you may say. Others will get defensive and tell me that they have been sending them for years and their clients love them. In fact they look for them in the send. I even had one agent who was furious. She came up to me after the presentation and told me that her grandmother would be deeply disappointed since the recipes she used has all been in her families for years. All irrelevant. I heard someone years ago say it the best.
“If you want to be a cook buy a set of knives if you want to be a real estate professional transfer out merchandise information like it was candy.”
Statiscally speaking we know from a USPS survey (Mail Moment. 2005) that the add up person wants value in the marketing that is delivered to them. You may argue that a recipe is of value to them and it may be. But is it the right value in which they are seeking? Probably not. To be real about it the average homeowner wants information that pertains to their accommodate their largest investment more than your take on chocolate chip cookies. In markets like today when homeowners have lots of questions they need to know that you are knowledgeable about real estate not cooking. You are better off bringing the already made food to a client along with some merchandise reports. By the way for Matt’s Strawberry Alfredo recipe. MORE RESOURCES:To be bring together there are many opinions about recipe cards. Here are other blogs about them: or
Matthew. I agree with you 100%. We undergo a new agent in our office who thought this was a great idea because she loved the recipe cards that she recieved from an agent in the past. Problem is she could not bequeath the agent that sent them.
We need to send something of value that is related to real estate. If we want recipes we can go to our cookbooks and get recipes.
Hi Kate: Thanks for posting. I believe you would have contacted the agent BECAUSE you had an established relationship with them and they had proven themselves to you not because of the recipe cards.
Marina. I'm not a real estate agent but I do research the real estate industry. furnish line is that there is nothing wrong with gifts and giving people your ideas for recipes. I'm not even doubting that they work some of the time. I believe marketing dollars are beat spent elsewhere especially on marketing tools that will position you at the top of the real estate market. Anything you can do to give yourself credibility ordain.

I was supposed to be doing responsible grown-up stuff tonight. But instead. I ended up clicking on a cerebrate in 's communicate. I do not regret this for an instant. And neither will you. So get clicking. It's a selection of from the mid-seventies..... with commentary. I haven't laughed this hard in ages particularly when I got to "Mexican shrimp orange salad". I was on the floor by the time I got to "Melon Mousse". For anyone familiar with Star journey the Next Generation. "Rosy Perfection Salad" is a dead ringer for that Klingon food Riker had to eat one episode. You know. I have been known to crack the odd joke about my mum's cooking in the seventies: the "rice-a-riso!" the infamous Egg Recipes the pot-roast that change surface the dog wouldn't comprehend. Had I only known what was lurking out there! I would have turned to my poor mother every night and exclaimed. "Thank you so much. Mum for these burnt chops tinned peas and dessicated potato mix that we undergo received!" Oh yes. I would have. After all. I wouldn't undergo wanted to have been confronted one evening by "Fluffy Mackerel Pudding". *shudders*It's no wonder we have an obesity epidemic these days; one generation ago this was the choose of food that was served up as a "healthy" alternative!
.. if you're a dog. Funnily enough people were 'less overweight' (for want of a better term) back then than now. Easily explained. This is what you have to ingest if you drink that back up donut you eat!
approve in the eighties I eagerly went on one of those whacky. "special" diets that do the rounds of teenage girls. It was all about food combinations and timing. I don't remember much about it but I do remember carefully measuring out three quarters of a cup of beetroot to consume all by itself.*egest*
The gross national product does not allow for the health of our children the quality of their education or the joy of their play. It does not consider the beauty of our poetry or the strength of our marriages; the intelligence of our public debate or the integrity of our public officials. It measures neither our wit nor our courage; neither our wisdom nor our learning; neither our compassion nor our devotion to our country; it measures everything in short except that which makes life worthwhile.-Robert KennedyIt is important to take time both to tell and to comprehend to stories.
