Zambia- Trees face the chop

Millions of urban poor in Zambia may be forced to cut down trees to alter charcoal fuel as the cost of electricity is set to rise in the next few days.
The country' sole power utility tighten Zambia Electricity give Corporation (ZESCO) has announced that starting October 1 the cost of electricity ordain be increased by 60%.
Chief Executive for ZESCO. Rhodnie Sisala announced that the increased production in the mines was putting unbearable pressure on the power utility company's capacity to generate electricity.
